Because technology addiction education resources are still scarce, I created this pamphlet as part of a teaching project and for use with students. The course that project was connected to is now over but the work continues. Any feedback you have about the utility of this for work with students is appreciated.
The images were all open source and I don’t have plans to actually sell this. If it helps to work with it, a pdf version (4mb) might be easier to print up and use.

The risk factors and indicators were adapted from the work of Ju-Yu et al. (2007). The definition of addiction is based on the work of Aviel Goodman (1993) on sexual addiction. The information on addiction and brain chemistry is from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (“Schoolastic Scope”, 2005). An interactive question format was employed throughout to encourage learner engagement.
